When Coach Patrick Kisomanga moved to the United States from the war torn Democratic Republic of Congo, he had never heard of golf. Patrick and his family survived in an African concentration camp for over a year and a half, before they were rescued and brought to Phoenix, Arizona.
This is where he was introduced to The First Tee, a program that has had a major impact on his life. Today, Patrick is a program coordinator with The First Tee of Greater Houston, sharing the program that gave so much to him, with young people in Houston.
